My camera tech managed to save my OM4Ti from a similar disaster, but only
just, and for a price almost the same as a good used ditto. But these
cameras don't exactly come in hundreds in my country, and my insurance paid
for most of it. It has worked very well for nearly two years now.
How are your relations with your insurance company? Maybe you shouldn't give
up.
