I think I have an OM-4 with a problem. Generally, it holds about 6
months on a fresh set of batteries. However, when I use my T
series flash on it, or use the self timer it seems (I don't make any
notes on date-of-refreshing-batteries, that is not yet) the batteries

you do know that when the flash is on that the camera circuitry is also on.
thus leaving the flash on drains the batteries in the camera. Look really
hard for SR44 or 357 batteries for best performance.
