[OM] Problem with camera store

I'm having a problem with a camera store. I bought a zoom lens from
them, got it, and discovered the front barrel was loose. I sent it back,
they said it was OK, that is was still within spec and took great
pictures. They would either send it back or charge me a restocking fee.
The len seemed quite out of spec to me, as the inner lens barrel could
actually  hit the outer barrel. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has had
a similar problem and what they did? The store is Camera Traders in
Englewood, Colorado. Thanks, John.
