Well,
I would say that E100VS has much larger grain than velvia has.. Actually it can
be seen even with a 4x-5.5x lupe. It is saturated but the sharpness isnt too
good. Some insect shots I did with zuiko 80mm f4 macro, were a bit soft
compared to Velvia. It renders gray pretty naturally and is usable with larger
format equipment. Its also cheaper than Velvia, but when I really want use 100
speed films I buy Provia100F or E100S.
