This brought up a question I've always wanted to ask: Which OM models
have the name below the shutter release on the front?

I know that all the "consumer" grade OM bodies have the name there
(OM-10, OM-20/F, OM-30/G, OM-40/PC) and nothing on the top (but there
was sufficient differences that you can tell if you can see the top
of these models). The OM-3(Ti), OM-4(T(i)) and OM-2S(program) also
had the name in the front and nothing on the top.

The OM-1 never had the name on the front; and the OM-1, OM-1n, OM-2
and OM-2n have always had the name on the top. So here is the murky
part: did the name appear on the front for any OM-2 or OM-1n? I
have seen OM-2n's with the name below the shutter release.

So which models had the name in the front? And when/why did Olympus
make the change? And is there any significance to the bodies with
the name in the front (are they newer or mechanically different)
compared to those without? Thanks.
        -Dan
