Kelton,

Try rechargable batteries in the 950. I have an Olympus C-2020 with 2 sets
of rechargable batteries. Rechargables last much longer, I get a several
hundred photographs per charge. With two sets of batteries I run out of
memory (1-64MB and 1-32MB card) long before I run out of batteries. But I
don't have the continous focus of the 950 and I rarely use the LCD for my
viewfinder. I do envy the Super Macro mode the 950 has though, but I'm
willing to sacrifice it for full manual control.
