I think I can do everything except 5 and possibly 3 in Outlook express
1) Group by conversation
2) Unread messages are bold
3) Since they're in a tree, you just go to the first one
4) Sorting the list by title is your 'table of contents'
5) Handy, but not there
6) Several Palm programs will do this (although the volume is too high for
me).
