Sorry for the late reply, but I do not use a flash for indoor sports
anymore. I photo indoor bball, indoor soccer and ice hockey (my kids, of
course). I started indoor photo with flash (T20 &/or T32) and zooms and
now only use the Zuiko 135mm f2.8 or Vivitar Series 1 200mm f3.0 and no
filters (i.e. UV, skylight, etc.). I use Fuji 1600 ASA film in either a
OM-PC (set to Auto) or a OM-4T. Even under the most difficult lighting
situations, especially high school gymnasiums, the results are very good.
I also found that the flash distracts the kids and refs, which is not so
cool. My 0.02 USD, again.
