Having dealt with John in the past I can honestly say that he has been a
very fair and reliable businessman. I will continue to deal with John
concerning my equipment. I believe many new cameras do not come with a
warranty that is two years in length so I would hardly expect a warranty
that length on a repair of a twenty year old camera. I've seen many times
when John has advised individuals who have problems with their equipment and
his advice has resulted in them being able to correct the problem
themselves. Also I believe that any difficulties with a business are best
handled in a business like manner and not aired in a public forum. I believe
that you may have shot yourself in the foot with this public airing of your
problem. If I were a tech I would be very reluctant to accept any of your
equipment for repair after having seen how you handle disagreements
concerning warranties.
