My first reaction? Ridiculous. Second - well, privacy is a tricky thing
and perhaps they did what their lawyers consider best. I guess the idea is
that you could offer something to bid and then direct people to a chat group
or (in this case) mailing list that you could use to "harvest" information.
It's a shame but right now everyone is running scared on internet privacy.
BTW - I didn't realize you wanted to unload a 50 f/3.5 Macro. I've been
looking for one but never wanted to pay the price. I've bought a couple of
things from you before and liked what I got.
