I took the opportunity to tell them it is a well known fact that they
have thrown out parts in sealed dumpsters and that customers consider
that business practice disgusting.

Let me see. Announced the creation of a 5.1 megapixel system camera in
April 2001 for introduction in 2002. Snatched back in 2002. Prototype
due in Feb 2003. For sale when? 5.1 megapixels? Who cares? By the time
it is on the market, Fuji, Nikon and Canon will be ready to move or
will have moved on from 6 megapixels in their second line cameras.
What has happened to Olympus?
