Well thanks for nothing folks!

I did say that i was looking for reasons !!NOT!! to buy an XA... thanks
lama, guess you were the only one who actually read that part... ;) instead
there's now the Stylus on top of the XA.... i don't even want to ask if
there are any others (and yes, i have an RC and a stock of mercury
batteries)... fortunately my gf isn't my cfo, but she hasn't seen the new
shelf in the den yet either...

Isn't there a by-law somewhere in the list rules about not enabling outside
of the OM line?

<major snipping of some of the unhelpful comments>

of design tha also happens to be a really cool little camera that takes
excellent images. The Stylus Epic is another clamshell design that also has
a sharp f2.8 lens and adds autofocus. It's smaller and lighter than the XA,
but just not as 'cool' to me.

Dan:

Jim:
> If you really want an easy to use and no-trouble carry-about camera, you
should consider the Stylus Epic, its smaller than any XA-series, has a very
good 35/2.8 lens, offers auto-everything and a flash.

Bill:
> I have mentioned many times my travel plan: whatever other camera I take,
the XA is ALWAYS loaded with Tri-x, and in my pants pocket

John:
> Stylus Epic is almost exactly the same length as an XA but is skinnier,
shorter, lighter. It gives unusually sharp results!

<end snip>

Well, Tom's first package arrived today, time to go play, and ponder...
