I think that the E-xx line is dead. Olympus is reportedly introducing two more
E-System bodies at the show, one a sports-oriented model, and the other an
amateur model.
I'm betting on at least one additional body. It will likely have pop-up flash,
less weather sealing, non-replaceable focusing screens, no sensor cleaner, some
idiot modes, inability to do RAW+JPG, and some other goodies deleted in
firmware.
I'm not sure how they'd introduce a body with a smaller sensor; that wouldn't
make sense to me.
I'm also wondering how they'll do a "sports oriented" body that's cheaper than
the E-1. Anything to help the sports shooters will be more expensive, IMO.
But maybe they'll be a higher-end body with faster fps? I'd be surprised if
Olympus improved the AF speed so soon.
