IME, nothing is as good as the Photo Equip grip
http://www.photoequip.net/_forms/grip_main.htm. An MD1 with no powerpack is a
close second, but it and the Winders are really designed to have the shutte
release on the grip. The PE grip is thinner and much nicer for general use.
It's also made of a reinforced plastic, which has the advantage of not being
slippery or getting extremely cold in winter.
Highly recommended, and it will fit most SLR's, not OM specific.
