Well, it's green all year long, covers the ground completely, blooms
occasionally, withstands both drought and flood, never needs fertilizing,
mowing, or spraying with insecticide, and is susceptible to no known diseases.
It and English ivy are the mainstays of my landscaping scheme -- together, of
course, with the goats and the chainsaw. Casual living begins with indolence.
