Jay, lexan is - I believe - Polycarbonate. Easiest way to drill it would
probably be to sandwich
it between two 3/16" or 1/4" sheets of ply. Cut by scoring or fine tooth saw or
bandsaw.
Polycarbonate is usually considered to be shatterproof.
