I have several gun stock camera supports and this is by far the ugliest. We
have some people on the list that really don't like guns but you ought to
see the reaction I get sometimes in Yellowstone when I point one of these at
an animal. I've actually had people run up and try to knock the assembly out
of my hands. It seems that they don't even see the camera and still think
it's a gun when I tell them otherwise. Touching it gets them a good kick in
the knee or nuts and either seems to diminish their penchant for further
violence.
Most people in Yellowstone are great to talk to and are very pleasant. I see
people with big scopes sharing with others that don't have good optics and
people really appreciate that. The few jerks are far outnumbered by the good
folks.
