I honestly don't know for certain as I have never used the 1.4 or 300 on 
a digital body. I suspect you would get the best performance with the 
1.4xA as it was designed to work with the 300 (and some other Zuiko 
teles) and as such would probably perform better than a digital in this 
combination.
