It seems I'm unable to set the appropriate preference. Adobe Help he say:
Note: Select Edits Camera Raw Settings in Adobe Bridge General preferences
to open camera raw files in the Camera Raw dialog box in Adobe Bridge. If
this preference isn't selected, camera raw files open in Photoshop.
Apart from the lack of punctuation in this 'help' which makes it difficult
to know what to look for, I don't see any appropriate option in the
'General' Preferences - but I do see some blank grey space where there is
room for more options:-( Maybe I have another setting wrong elsewhere.
Yes, I checked the jpeg option - thanks.
Wasted a couple of hours on this now, still no progress... :-(
