Thanks for that information, Nathan.  Yes, there was a certain je ne  
sais quoi about the service at one of the seafood restaurants: we  
walked away after our meal not realising how it had all turned out so  
expensive!  :-)

If we go back to Brussels (I have a photo of my wife's yellow Beetle  
on Grande Place) I shall look out 't Kelderkerke.

And I am really glad that you and your son have managed to make  
something of the exchange rate: supporting a student in England is not  
a cheap enterprise now for most ...
