Thanks for the info, John. I'll not be messing with that any time soon.
Perhaps I need to spend less of the little time I have focusing on
focus targets.

In an OM body I can check mirror angle, finder focus, infinity focus.
Messing with the factory shimming of the screen is to be avoided. Prism
has to come out to change them, they are glued in, it can be an all day
job. I haven't done one in decades.
