Following the same sort of procedure (in preparation for surgery) they
placed what seemed like a tennis ball on the entry point in my groin and
clamped me to the bed - using something similar to one of those racheting
sash-cramps that woodworkers use! I'd have preferred a nurse to be holding
my (tennis) balls...
