Hi Ken,

I've never used the 35/2.8, so I can't comment.  I do think, by keeping the 
elements small, they were able to avoid some of the problems found with 
modern, fast lenses.

As someone else commented a few days ago, this lens reminds me of the sort 
of images I got with my Leica Elmar 50/3.5 (Coated), the lens I started out 
with in 1952.  Today, I don't have to cope with the limitations of 
Kodachrome rated at ASA 10.
