Ken, I have not actually seen the problem as it applies to full frame. 
Since the on-line research that I found was Leica-leaning, it was probably 
just "not perfect" in the corners, since all Leica-made lenses are expected 
to be perfect.

But, except for difficulty in focusing it on the E-1, it is a perfect match. 
I find that setting the aperture to f/8 and the distance to 10 feet, 
shooting in "A" mode will cover almost anything outdoors.  Increasing ISO 
and opening up a couple of stops works fine indoors, with the distance 
adjusted accordingly.  It ain't rocket science, but it gets 
results...............
