There are some settings that affect battery usage. And it can be set to turn
off when a minimum battery setting is
reached. It seems to be a model of a focused app, intended to do one thing
only, simply.
I've ordered a portable battery and have a car charger. User reports on the
battery say between 1.5 and 2 full recharges
of an iPhone. It's a small, simple, easy to use thing, with excellent user
reviews.
