More than 40 years ago, I owned a Nikon F with a Photomic FTn head. As the
match needle was the only non-image part of the display (protruding
not-too-intrusively into the image), the 100% screen was huge.
If you've never used such a camera, you don't know what you're missing. An LCD
on the back of a camera, however large, is a poor substitute for an eye-level
viewfinder.
