Thanks, Fernando.  I will eventually try to fix the LS5000.  It has been
running day and night for over half a million scans.  It looks like the
mirror has fallen or something drastic inside.  Nikon no longer repairs the
scanners and does not have parts.  There is a video on the internet about
how to take the scanner apart to clean it so I'll try that.

I'm would love to get my Imacon up and running and am waiting on one more
connector to hook it up.
