Good news on Tom's heath!  _and_ on the drug cost.

I'm in the process of signing up for a new plan for next year. I thought 
we were required to have "part D" coverage? Anyway the plan "D" I'm 
getting is about $14/mo + deductible. It's a crap shoot as I don't need 
any prescriptions but can't afford to self-insure and I'm switching from 
an "Advantage" plan to a "Medigap" plan. Net out-of-pocket will still be 
less even with part "D". What a FU system we have here! And all 
indications are that it will get worse now we're in the post factual age.
