I too have thought of how to acheive the best results in low tungsten light.
After some surfing on the Internet I found out that Kodak manufactures high
sensitivity negative tungsten-balanced 35 mm motion picture films.

Unfortunately these kinds of films are sold on large spools and require a
different kind of processing (ECN-2) due to, amongst others, that they have
some kind of backing on the rear surface of the film which have to be
removed prior to development.

I have read that the ordinary development processes for negative films may
work on these films but that the backing will clog the developing machines.
I have not tested any of the films, nor have I any exact knowledge of their
performance or any other advantages or disadvantages regarding them (apart
from having lesser contrast than "regular" 35 mm negative films specifically
intended for still-picture cameras).

However, since the data I found indicates that at least their sensitivity in
tungsten light are very good, I am very much indeed interested in testing
them out, provided I could find anyone who could supply them in standard 135
film canisters and who could develop the films afterwards.

Haven´t managed to find anyone capable of doing that in Sweden yet, sorry to
say. If anyone of you have any knowledge of someone who could provide these
services (not necessarily in Sweden), please let me know. Imagine these
kinds of films pushed two steps...ASA 2000/2560 in tungsten light...*smile*

Anyway, the films I found with some data are found below. Further
information could be acquired at Kodak´s site.
