Oh, photo ops near Irvine:
Roger's Gardens, in Fashion Island (name of mall, Newport Beach, I
believe) great for flowers. Huntington Pier, Newport Pier, and all the
others there, Dana Point (good for getting boats cruising out/in to
Pacific from the channel), Catalina Island (hop away from D.P.). Ah,
Huntington Botanical gardens. A bit of a stretch to Long Beach for the
Queen Mary (or whatever that boat is called; too bad Spruce Goose is not
there anymore). Plenty more, but can't recall them at the moment. Have
fun!
