Alas a poor soul who hasn't savored a white castle burger.
Me thinks they boiled meat fat in water in extremely small flat disks,then
smothered in onions cooked till translucent and tender,
then squashed between two equally thin square[if I remember rightly]
roll halves and served soaking wet... As small children we thought this was
food!!! You could also add catsup or mustard also.
