The latter, I would suggest. One thing you could do, if you are prepared, is
use this body *only* when you can also carry a backup. That way you won't be
high and dry if it fails. I'd be tempted to send it for CLA if it does it
once more, since the cost of the work is worth it in the long run. I think
it is too easy for us to buy these things for $200 or whatever, and forget
or ignore that it will need attending to in due course. A CLA should be part
of the 'running costs' of a camera in the same way that an oil change etc is
on a car. Just MHO... not that I follow my own advice anyway ;-)
