Actually we've sent many packages overseas through the US post office for eBay
items, and find it no more difficult than local items. Only one extra tiny
sticker to fill out, marked as gift with SMALL value, if not insured, and never
(knock on wood), had a problem with customs, or a lost package. The buyer is
aware of all costs, and insurance prices before hand, and makes his own
decision.

Absolute easiest & cheapest way of payment for the overseas buyer (or seller),
seems to cosistently be BidPay. We get a good 'ol american Western Union money
order sent to us at no postage cost to the buyer, who only pays 5 bucks for the
money order. Of course if they still prefer to send an overseas money order, if
its a postal money order, your local post office cashes it with no question.
