I'm glad I'm where there is interesting landscape stuff all year round (Hills are green, lupin blue and lots of other wildflowers coming out.), 'cause the only way I would be up at that hour is if I got hooked on a book all night (very rare) or have to catch an early plane (even rarer).

I also had to rethink landscapes and different moods for them. A "landscape" is not necessarily the Classic Calendar Photo. I know there's little time left. Try very early morning starting about 45 minutes just before sunrise in the Early Morning Nautical Twilight. Use locations that would be interesting for a Classic Calendar Photo, and watch as the entire mood of the landscape changes as the Edge of Night passes overhead (if the sky is very clear you can *see* it) to the first 20 minutes past sunrise.
