Does it say 'Wyoming' on the camera anywhere? You may have one of the rare
'stealth' OM-2s prototypes... before working on it you should consider the
impact on its value if it winds up looking like just another dime-a-dozen
pedestrian ordinary OM-2s...
Maybe try a q-tip and some lighter fluid (use the q-tip almost dry, and test
on the paint on the bottom first to see if it softens or affects it).
Someone probably used a magic-marker or Sharpie on the letters. Micro-Tools
sells lacquer paint sticks made for re-coloring engraved letters that have
worn, you might check them out if the white underneath is gone.
