It works very well with narrow width enscriptions such as the shutter speed
dial or the f-stop ring.  It's not so good for larger items such as the
logo on the front of the body.  The "paint" is a rather odd substance.  When
exposed to air, over time it forms a hard crusty surface that is a few mm
thick.  Every time you use the stick, you need to scrape away the hard
surface to reveal a soft putty like substance.  It's this soft stuff that
you fill into the lettering that you're "painting".  Eventually (about a week
or two) the stuff you left in the lettering turns hard and is very durable.
I've been happy with it so far.
