The fumes and sparks from my rant must've reached all the way to Chicago,
because just moments after I sent it off, an email arrived to inform me
that the 35/2.8 shift lens has been shipped. It was basically a form
shipping notice, containing no warm and fuzzy words, but it beats the hell
out of what I had heard previously and may actually incline me toward
positive feedback, depending on the quality of the goody.
Now if those fumes and sparks can reach Long Island, maybe I'll hear
something about the 35-80.
