As a less screen-using alternative, add the following to your registry:
new key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchUrl\G
[default] value=
http://www.google.com/search?q=
and then you can type "G olympus lens fang" in the addressbar and it'll
automatically expand to do the search. This basic approach can be used for
other things in the obvious way -- googlegroups search, KB search, anything
where the keyword's substitutable.
Be warned: it's one of those things where once you've got used to it,
you'll find you _need_ to set it up on every other computer you ever use..
