Christian -- The Olympus XA is a very nice camera for snapshots with a bit
more control over focus and aperture. The flash must be a matching Olympus
flash, there are about four models (A-9, A-11, A-1A, A-16) of flash. The
lens does not fold up like the Minox, so the camera is a bit larger, but it
has a nice shape.
A nice XA with an A-11 flash can often be found on eBay for less than
US$100, although I don't know if you would end up paying near that with
shipping and VAT to France. So maybe $100 is an OK price for one in your
hands after all, but if you are patient you can find them in auctions for
$60 or a bit more...
