Ahhh! Now all the effort to return a very low value lost item to its
owner makes more sense. If it is carrying negative energy, finding an
energetically appropriate way to move it on without leaving any detritus
is sound practice.

Some folks can sense/feel patterns of 'energy' that do not correspond to
those perceived by the five senses nor to any of the scientifically
known electro-magnetic, gravitational, weak or strong atomic level
forces. Many believe that the care of our relationship to these energies
has important effects on physical, mental and spiritual health. This is
the basis of many ancient and modern healing practices. A number of
things in quantum theory are no stranger than this idea may seem to
some. Check out Bell's Theorem.
I say this not to imply that anyone on the list should or should not
believe in such things, or to encourage any OT thread, only to answer
your question.
Or maybe W.S. only meant the batteries in the cameras still work. :-D
