Ouch! I think that's gonna hurt.

My 50/2 Zuiko Macro has a teeny, tiny little brass thingy about a quarter of a 
millimeter in diameter behind the front element (or group -- I didn't look at 
the schematic) that can be barely seen only in the exact right light. Still, it 
annoys me and causes me to wonder if it's worth disassembling the lens (not me, 
but somebody competent) to get it out.

Neither your scratch nor my little brassy thingy amount to a hill of beans as 
far as performance is concerned, but they're the equivalent of a ding in the 
door and a hole in the muffler of the car when you try to sell it: not a big 
deal, but there it is.
