Hmmmmmmmmmm I need to think about this. I have my Oly 300mm/f4.5 but it's a
bit longer and heavier than these lenses, true?

I used it on a Minolta X700 most all the time.
I was happy with it.
The only other lens I had was the 50mm f/1.7 which is sharper.
My Tokina has a Minolta mount.
