Hi Michael,

I've never seen recommendations from Schneider about polarizer filters. The
recommended center filter can be found in the table at the bottom center of
the first page at:
https://www.schneideroptics.com/pdfs/photo/LensCharts.pdf

I would be very cautious about spending money on a large polarizer for your
72mm SA XL. The field of view is so wide that you may not like the effects
of the polarizer. If you still have some wide angle small format gear,
experiment with a polarizer on a 20mm lens on 35mm format gear.

http://www.schneideroptics.com has a lot of information but finding it
usually involves typing several searches into google such as

site:www.schneideroptics.com 72mm xl
or
site:www.schneideroptics.com polarizer

If you use the center filter and a polarizer, the polarizer will have to be
a 112mm filter to screw in to the center filter. (doesn't have to be a
circular polarizer). If you think you will be using very many filters you
should look into using one of the square filter adapters such as the Lee
Foundation kit.

on a Canon)
It's expensive but cheaper than buying different filters for every lens. (I
haven't used one.)

Best wishes,
Jeff

Thank you very much, Jeff.

I understood I should put CF on the wide angle lens to avoid fall off but as
you said, it's very expensive. But I think I'll go to get one finally.

Btw, I searched internet & found the website for Schneider large format lens
information:
https://www.schneideroptics.com/ecommerce/CatalogSubCategoryDisplay.aspx?CID
=162

But it seems not many information provided. Such as what size of CPL to be
applied to 72XL ............ or what kind of CF to to applied ......
Is any good website with more information provided? Thanks.
