Oh, we really "got it", but I guess I am the only one stupid enough to
vocalize...:)

It kinda goes like this:

Zone 10 needs a quality sponsors of the type that dont have one leg in the
grave.

Now AG found one that complies with the above requirements, but he does not
like any of its products, so he has to walk a looooong rope high in a sky and
be as diplomatic as possible, but still able to sleep at night, combination
which we all know dozent work. But its his website and I am not going to tell
him what to do, but if it were me...:)

Just kidding. I am in just for the guess.

I am going with Sony. Far second will be Ricoh, closely followed by Samsung.

I think Panasonic is next to Sony when it comes to innovation, but dont think
they "get it".

I like Pentax, but dont know why. Pentax definately dozent "get it".

Ken not wait for the day the sponsor is revealed.

Reading Moose's story about the adapter got me thinking about
companies in this industry that "get it", whatever "it" is. I know
that I've recently gone into major scorched-earth mode with Olympus
America, but on the flip side I've found another company that
understands and gives a rip not only about the product itself, but
about the customer.

Within a week I'll be publishing a product review on Zone-10 that will
show that I don't think everybody in the photography industry are
cretins. I had the review ready, and it contained some serious (but
valid) complaints about the product. I put my "product manager hat" on
and thought about what changes I'd make to the product and a few usage
recommendations. I contacted the company, gave them a preview of the
review, and sought their opinion on my criticisms. It turns out that
the primary complaint with the product is being addressed and the
improvements being slip-streamed into production this week! Another
issue I had was a result of not using the device as recommended and
just beyond the design scope of the product.

In conversation with the guy who runs the company, we managed to
discuss my specific uses and why I was using it a certain way. That
prompted a design discussion and further product modifications. Turns
out that there were two ways I used the product that was beyond any
design intent which greatly improved the end result.

My review will still be critical of the issues discovered, but I will
at least add the perspective of my unintended usages as well as the
original design-spec which I wasn't conforming to. (and is adequately
noted on their own website documentation now, but wasn't when I bought
it).

I'll be testing and reviewing other products for this company and will
have no problem expounding on the virtues of it. Some "get it" and
I'll be pleased to announce one company that does.
