Exactly. My experiences with LinkedIn have been similar, and I have been on
both sides of the jobseeker/employer divide. These days, my activity is largely
limited to writing references for ex-colleagues when they ask for one. But any
comparison between LinkedIn and FB is just ridiculous. They are completely
different animals.
