No.  I looked at it a couple of years ago, and decided it wasn't necessary for 
what I was shooting (vs the learning curve, etc).  Might take another 
look........mayflies might be possible in 3-4 shots if lucky.  Went to a 
program 2-3 years ago..........a flower photographer who would stack 50+ 
layers........that hurt my head.

Have you actually beeen doing image stacking for DoF? If so, what software have 
you been using? I think PhotoShop is capable of such but haven't tried it.
