I totally agree Chris! The Independent , and the Guardian are the only 2
newspapers worthy of the name in the UK. Is it any surprise that most other
papers are owned by the Evil Empire of one Rupert Murdoch.
Robert Fisk is probably the most astute and honest reporter on the Middle East.
He "understands" the history and politics of the area and how we have all
contributed to the utter chaos...and then walked away! His views are not
universally popular...that does not make them wrong!
