Michael ........ you must live in the wrong province! Heightened Security 
........ what's that ? My wife and crossed into Maine at the St Stephen, NB / 
Calais, ME road crossing late last November. Dealing with the US Customs border 
person was as relaxed as meeting the door greeter at our local Wal-Mart absent 
only a cursory look at our passports and a question of where we were going 
[Acadia NP for my nephew's 50th birthday]. We wished him a Happy Thanksgiving 
and he returned the same wish, he even smiled and waved us goodbye. We were the 
only car in the line. He might have been lonely!
