Time for a silent lurker to jump in :-)
My OM 5 wish list:

- Backwards compatible with all lenses/motor drives/winders/flashes
- Same metering system as OM 3/4T, eventually smaller spot area
- Flash syncro speed 1/125 or 1/250
- Nice large high eyepoint viewfinder for eyeglass wearers
- Dioptric correction in viewfinder
- Aperture display in viewfinder
- No built-in winder
- Mirror lock-up separated from self-timer (or a
second shorter self-timer interval)
- Handier self-timer/beeper switch (regarding OM4)
- ISO range up to 6400
- About same size/weight as previous OM models (slightly
larger body size would not concern me)
- No autofocus or other gimmicks (focus/DOF indicator like Contax RX would
be
acceptable but probably clutter the viewfinder display)
- Body should be rain resistant (have never tested my OM4Ti so far...)
- Not too much plastic
- Varimagni-finder-like right-angle adaptor, but without
magnifying capabilities for taking pictures near the ground
- Silent shutter mechanism
- price not over $1500
