I will have to go see my Dad tomorrow to definitively answer you.
But, I believe the OM2000 will take Olympus eye cups and the diopters.
I know that the OM2000 does have a set of diopters available for it.
It's mentioned in the manual and on the Olympus web site.
As far as the timer sequence goes, I don't think so.
I only tried the timer once or twice as part of a general inspection
when I first got it.
